School Board
The Iberville Parish School Board is responsible for providing education to the children in Iberville Parish. The Iberville Parish School Board is vested with the responsibility and authority to establish policies for the administration and management of the schools in the school district. The board shall act as a legislative body in the determination of policies for the control, operation, maintenance and improvement of the school system in keeping with the needs of the communities of the parish and applicable state laws.
The board has 9 members who are elected by the people to serve a four year term. The Iberville Parish School Board recognizes that it is essential to the maintenance of a democratic society that public business be performed in an open and public manner and that the citizens be advised of and aware of the performance of public officials and the deliberations and decisions that go into the making of public policy. Board meetings are held at 6:00pm on the second Monday of every month.
