Cleanest Campus Award
Congratulations to the White Castle High School Staff for earning the CLEANEST CAMPUS AWARD for the 2nd Nine Weeks! At the February School Board Meeting, the administration of WCHS was presented the Cleanest Campus Award. The Cleanest Campus Committee visited every campus and scored the cleanliness and upkeep of each campus using a rubric created by the Executive Director of Operations and Maintenance Team. This is the start of something great! (February 2026)
School Food Service partners with CTE
East Iberville's Culinary classes are now earning service hours towards an Advanced Credential. Students are earning from 200 - 400 hours serving in the cafeteria. Students completed all of the necessary training in order to perform duties in the kitchen. Although students will NOT be allowed to cook or prepare meals, they will be vital in the process: cutting vegetables, counting inventory, cleaning equipment, cleaning the cafeteria tables, assisting students who may need assistance during the lunch hour and MUCH MORE!!!!!! Let's wish these students the best of luck this semester. (January 2026)
PHS Cafeteria is now open!!!!!
The PHS Kitchen and Cafeteria are now open! Special thanks to the Maintenance and Project Team for ensuring that this project was completed in a timely manner to allow our students the best eating experience. Special thanks to the PHS Cafeteria Staff for going above and beyond to prepare nutritious meals in the Mobile Kitchens during construction. Lastly, thanks to the Superintendent and School Board for allocating funds needed to provide our students with a beautiful facility. (January 2026)

OPERATIONS MONTHLY SPOTLIGHT
ONE DEPARTMENT, ONE GOAL!
DO YOUR BEST!!!!!!!!
This month we are highlighting the Transportation Staff!!!!!! Continue to keep our students safe on the road as you travel to and from school. We appreciate all that you do! We are extremely proud of you!!!!! (January / February 2026)
*************************************************************************************************************
This month we are highlighting Maintenance and Transportation staff members!
Some of the Transportation Staff have taken on an additional task: Serving as a School Food Service Technician!
As we deal with unexpected employee absences, it is often hard to find substitutes to fill the absences. Well, we decided to create our own "substitute pool" of employees. Several School Bus Operators and Bus Attendants attended a required training to be qualified to assist in the cafeteria. These ladies have completed the required Offer versus Serve training, Civil Rights training, Ethics Training and Food Safety Training. They will receive on the job training centered around measurements and food handling. Stop by the cafeteria to see if you find a bus driver helping out... Don't forget to thank them for their service! WE appreciate our School Bus Operators and Bus Attendants. (October 2025)

Our IPSB Maintenance Staff members have gone above and beyond to assist the School Food Service Department with day to day issues that arise in the kitchen and the cafeteria. They are always ONE CALL AWAY and eager to assist the ladies in School Food Service. WE truly appreciate your commitment, patience and flexibility! (August 2025)
