Participation on athletic teams are strictly on a voluntary basis. Athletics are extracurricular activities conducted after the regular school day. The student-athlete must earn the privilege of participation through dedication, desire, and discipline. Because participation is voluntary, certain basic requirements are necessary in order to make the athletic program a wholesome, successful, and meaningful experience.  All student athletes will adhere to the Iberville Parish School handbook and the LHSAA handbook.  The rules and regulations as described in these handbooks will be enforced. The goals of the athletic program are to provide student-athletes to excel in teamwork, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and have acceptable social behavior and character.
