Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
At the December 9, 2019, Regular School Board Meeting, the Board approved an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Effective January 1, 2020, the Employee Assistance Program has gone live for district employees.
Below you will find important details regarding the program:
It is absolutely free to employees and their dependents (this includes anyone who resides in the home with the employee and any of the employee's dependents under the age of 26 who reside outside of the employee's household).
It is completely confidential!
Counseling services include 6 sessions, per year, per issue with licensed counselors within the greater Baton Rouge area. You can call or go online for a referral at any time.
Free 30-minute legal and financial consultations (per issue) and access to legal documents online.
Work/life services for home or family resources.
New Directions can be contacted at 1-800-624-5544 or you can go online at NDBH.com. Our company code is IPSB. You will need to provide the code in order to verify that you are a part of the program. There is also a "New Directions EAP" app that you can download to your smartphone to access all of the aforementioned services.
