Counselor's Corner

School Counselors play a critical role in the success of students in school.  High School Counselors are primarily responsible for:

  • Class scheduling
  • State Testing
  • Ensuring that 8th grade students set a plan to achieve a high school diploma
  • Securing Scholarships for seniors
  • Ensuring juniors and seniors complete the FASFA
  • Ensuring that juniors and seniors complete college applications
  • Ensuring that students who enter 9th grade complete high school in 4 years
  • Ensuring that each senior graduate with at least one (1) IBC / credential
