The Department of Business and Finance oversees a range of non-academic services that support the School District's mission through financial reporting and business services. The Business and Finance Department is responsible for all financial accounting and reporting, budgets, payroll, insurance, retirement, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, records management, purchasing, grant management, and school activity funds.
In addition, we establish, maintain, and enforce the School District’s accounting policies, practices, and procedures. Currently, we handle a total operating budget of $106 million. We are responsible for end-of-year financial reporting, budget preparation and supervision, and grant closeout for all departments and schools.
Our mission is to provide accurate, reliable, timely, supportive, and cost-effective financial and accounting services. By doing so, we support the mission and priorities of the District by providing the highest quality financial services.
