LINCS (Learning Intensive
Networking Communities for Success)
LINCS is an
intensive, whole-school improvement effort designed and delivered by the
Office of Quality Educators in partnership with the Louisiana Systemic
Initiatives Program (LaSIP) and the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB)
Partnership. |

|
Key Components of the LINCS Process
Since its inception during School Year 2000-01, LINCS has
provided a framework within which school staff can develop the knowledge and
skills they need to: |
 | Present deep content in mathematics, science, and/or
English language arts; |
 | Infuse teaching with technology;
|
 | Develop lessons and authentic assessments that are both
standard-based and sensitive to the student body's unique learning needs
and strengths; and |
 | Implement Whole-Faculty Study Groups to enrich and
support the faculty's evolution into a professional learning community. |
