My students work hard to create wonderful stories! We always make sure to begin each sentence with a capital letter, use pinky spaces in between each word, reread the sentence to make sure it makes sense and end each sentence with a punctuation mark.

This year we are exploring many new and different things in Math. Your child works hard everyday to engage in hands-on learning activites that enhance their number sense. We are focusing on numbers along with counting and cardinality. The following a list that you can use to assess your child's progress and mastery of the skills we are covering in class. READING My students work hard to learn new things everyday! I encourage you to work with your child to identify all of his/her letters and their sounds. Also, it is never too early to start reading simple consonant vowel consonant words with your child. The more your child is exposed to reading and blending sounds in words the more fluent they will become. *Work with your child to become more fluent with naming his/her letters* Aa Bb Cc Dd Ee Ff Gg Hh Ii Jj Kk Ll Mm Nn Oo Pp Qq Rr Ss Tt Uu Vv Ww Xx Yy Zz *Work with your child to isolate the initial or first sounds in words* Say the following words.
