Welcome to the IPSB Administrative Departments Page. 

Iberville Parish School System puts our children first.  We provide a wide range of services to meet the individual needs of our students.  We follow the progess of each child and modify teaching to ensure success of all students.  In order to meet our goals and objectives as set forth in the Iberville Parish Public School System Master Plan for Achievement, we have formed the following departments:

Adult and Continuing Education Programs provide activities that develop knowledge and skills to meet immediate and long range educational objectives of adults who have completed or interrupted their formal schooling to accept adult roles and responsibilities. 

Business and Finance conducts all business andfinancial activities of the school board. The primary responsibility of this department is financial management for all deposits and disbursements and the development and administration of the annual budget.  Some of the other duties include the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and fixed assets.

Curriculm and Instruction carry out the following programs:

  •  Regular Education Programs offer activities that provide students in grades K-12 with learning experiences to prepare them for activities as citizens, family members, and non-vocational works. 
  •  Special Education Programs pertain to activities primarily for students having special needs.  They include pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, elementary, secondary services for gifted and talented, mentally disabled, physically handicapped, and emotionally disturbed students.
  •  Vocational Education Programs provide students with the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for employment in an occupational area such as:  Family and Consumer Science (home economics), industrial arts, and business education.
  •  Other Instructional Programs afford students in grades K-12 with learning experiences in school sponsored co-curricular activities, and athletics. These programs normally supplement the regular instructional program and include such activities as athletics, band, chorus, choir, early childhood, and remediation programs.

Human Resources and Personnel support each of the instructional and supporting services programs.  The goal is to maintain professional personnel recruitment, employment, and separation system which support the highest quality of educational programs.

Operation and Maintenance of Plant is responsible for maintaining all schools and buildings owned by the district.

The Office of the Superintendent is concerned with establishing and administering policy for operating the local educational agency.

Project Management provides new facilities and renovations of existing facilites for all students, faculty, and staff of the Iberville Parish School System.

School Food Services account for the activities of preparing and serving food to students and staff for breakfast and lunch.

Student Transportation Services are concerned with transporting students to and from school, as provided by State and Federal law. This includes trips between home and school, and trips to school activities.

Workforce Development helps communities create, sustain, and retain a viable workforce that can support current and future business and industry.  We are striving to have our students and residents ready for the workplace through education and training.
