Iberville Elementary is celebrating thirty years of the Reading Is Fundamental (R.I.F.) Program. Area businesses donating funds to purchase books for second grade students include Bayou Fabricators, Plaquemine Rotary Club, Citizen's Bank, Iberville Bank, Plaquemine Bank, A. Wilbert's Sons, and the dental office of Dr. Patrick Dooley. The books are distributed by members of the Plaquemine Service League.
