EMPLOYEE FORMS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE ON THE EMPLOYEE PORTAL
When choosing a resignation date, please be aware that all monies owed to you will be paid in a lump sum on your final paycheck. Federal and state taxes will be calculated on this lump sum amount which may result in a greater percentage of tax being withheld.
In addition, your insurance benefits will end on the last day of the month in which you resign your position.
EXAMPLE FOR A 9, 10, 10.5 or 11 MONTH EMPLOYEE
RESIGNATION DATE OF MAY 31
final paycheck will include monies owed for summer checks (June and July). All insurance coverage (health, dental and life) ends on May 31.
RESIGNATION DATE OF JULY 10
will receive checks on June and July pay dates. Insurance coverage (health, dental and life) ends on July 31.
